1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Mantle AI (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. The Service is operated by Mantle AI. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Mantle AI provides an AI-powered discipleship companion with four pillars: Talk (pastoral conversations), Read (Scripture reading plans), Pray (three prayer modes), and Grow (spiritual growth tracking). The Service is a tool to support your faith journey. It is not pastoral counseling, therapy, or a substitute for church community.
3. Account and Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old. If under 18, parental consent is required. You are responsible for your account security and all activities under your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
Free: 5 conversations/month, basic features.
Believer: $4.99/month or $49/year. Unlimited conversations.
Disciple: $9.99/month or $99/year. Advanced features and groups.
Payments processed by Stripe. Cancel anytime. Access continues until end of billing period. 7-day refund on new subscriptions.
5. Acceptable Use
Use the Service for personal discipleship purposes. Do not attempt to manipulate the AI, circumvent safety features, or use the Service to generate harmful content. The AI is calibrated for pastoral care; attempts to misuse it for other purposes violate these terms.
6. AI-Generated Content
AI responses are generated based on theological training data and your inputs. They are starting points for reflection, not authoritative spiritual direction. You are responsible for your own spiritual decisions. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use generated content for personal devotional purposes.
7. Crisis and Safety
Mantle AI includes crisis detection. If crisis content is detected, the Service will display emergency resources (988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, Crisis Text Line) before any AI response. The AI does not attempt to counsel through crisis situations. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” MANTLE AI IS NOT A LICENSED COUNSELOR, PASTOR, OR MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THEOLOGICAL ACCURACY, SPIRITUAL OUTCOMES, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
9. Limitation of Liability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING ANY CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
11. Privacy
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
